When you love Wicked on Broadway how do you incorporate it into your engagement photos? By taking them at THE Gershwin theater!  Christina and Vince chose this location because they see Wicked on Broadway once every year – on Valentine’s day to be exact.  Christina  LOVES Wicked and could just about name every character and scene; we joked about how she could even give the back stage tours there, too! 🙂 Our session began downstairs in the lobby by the infamous dragon clock and we worked our way up through the theater where we eventually headed backstage and saw some of the actors getting ready for a show!  We were able to sneak a quick shot on stage in front of the map which was fantastic! After snapping some photos inside the Gershwin theater, we went outside on Broadway and captured some more lovely photos with NYC as the back drop.  Read below to learn more about Christina and Vince’s love story! 

The Bride and Groom’s attire:

“It was important to us to have two different looks. A formal look and a fun, casual look. For our formal look I wanted something elegant, and I really wanted to do a gown because I thought it would be something really different. I chose the dress from a website called Reve Boutique and the designer of my dress was Johnathan Kayne. I tend to shop on this website for very special occasions so I knew I would find something perfect for our pictures.  I asked Vincent what he wanted to wear for our formal look and he thought it would be good to wear a tux and I couldn’t agree more. For our second look I had ordered a dress from a website called LuLus. I always order from this website because they always have cute and fun pieces. I wanted Vince to be comfortable in our casual look because he went all out for me and put on a tux for our formal look. He choose to wear his favorite Tommy Bahama jeans and a white Burberry button down (that he wore to our engagement party!).”

How did you two meet?

Vince and I have actually known each other since we were little. When I was in 1st grade his mom was my cheerleading coach and I remember him being my first crush. The summer going into my sophomore year of high school and his senior year we worked at a camp together. He would always go out of his way to talk to me, then finally at the end of the summer he asked me to be his girlfriend and 12 years later here we are today! Engaged and about to be married!

What are you most excited about for your wedding? (Dances, speeches, vows, party etc).

We are just over the moon excited for everything about our wedding. We are in love with our venue the Park Savoy! Our band The Infernos are just amazing and we cant wait to dance to them all night long! And of course our incredible photographer!!!!  We can’t wait to have a magical night surrounded by our friends and family. But most of all I can not wait to walk down the aisle and see Vince for the first time, knowing that in a little while he is going to be my husband and we are going to start this wonderful life together. It give me goosebumps just thinking about it. 

What is your favorite memory together?

Our favorite memory together is going to see the broadway musical Wicked. We go once a year for Valentines Day and we make a whole weekend out of it. We stay in the city at the Hyatt in Grand Central. We look forward to it every year and it’s just something special that we share together. The show is so magical and vince knows how much I love it. He makes the weekend a little different and more special each year.
