Having the opportunity to capture destination wedding photos is always a thrill for me.  What’s even better about this wedding- is that it was my beautiful cousin, Christina’s wedding!  Christina and Vin chose a gorgeous resort called Playacar Palace to hold their intimate affair.  My second shooter Jaye and I set out a few days before and scoped out some amazing areas to photograph.  Shooting in new locations is a great challenge and I love getting creative! Our day began with Christina getting ready with her girls while Vin got ready with his main men.  Christina wore a beautiful Mori Lee gown and her bridesmaids all wore shades of blue by designer Alfred Angelo.  Both of these two love birds were so excited that the big day finally came.  The groomsmen all wore suits from Perry Ellis and matched the ladies perfectly.  Christina chose to go with fake flowers and have them shipped down ahead of time – thanks to Lily of Angeles.  Dreamart Videography did a great job of capturing the big day alongside of us.  I’m so happy I got to be a part of this wedding – congratulations to my cousin Christina and her new hubby, Vincent! 🙂

How did you two meet and fall in love?

We met online (Instagram), started talking and had a lot in common. We met in person the next day at a local Friday’s for some football.

We went on a few dates after that and we became attached at the hip because we developed a best friendship at the same time as a romantic love for one another. We have been inseparable ever since 🙂

What was most important to you when planning your wedding?

The most important thing to us when planning our wedding was to make sure our close family was there to celebrate with us and, of course, an amazing photographer to capture the most amazing day of our lives!

What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?

The inspiration behind our wedding theme is the fact that we love the tropical weather and life style and we wanted to have that same vibe during the most important day of our lives.

What is your favorite memory from your wedding?

Our favorite wedding memory was the feeling of so much love laughter and happiness from all of our guests!  It was so relaxing and just amazing in every way! We have so many great memories from the whole week of being there together!

How will you describe the feeling you had on your wedding day to your children one day?

The feeling we will describe to our children about our wedding day would be a feeling of endless love from everyone around us as well as having the excitement and joy of knowing I was marrying my absolute BEST friend and soul mate! It really was the best day of our lives and we wouldn’t change a thing! It was perfect in every way!
