Krysten and Nick :: Married :: Pleasantdale Chateau Wedding

This year, I’ve had the priviledge to photograph a few Pleasantdale Chateau Weddings. I love photographing weddings at The Pleasantdale – as no wedding is ever the same when I work there! Krysten and Nick’s Pleasantdale Chateau Wedding was stunning and perfect in every way.  Krysten wore a breath-taking off the shoulder, Monique Lhuillier gown and paired it with Monique Lhuillier heels. Krysten was all smiles the morning of and I adored the letter she wrote to Nick and the letter Nick wrote to her. You can see a sneak peek of that here from my husband, Rob Adams Films below!

After a beautiful church ceremony, Krysten and Nick headed back to Pleasantdale where we explore the grounds and took some amazing photos. Krysten and Nick were adorable for the camera and their love for each other really came through the lens. Friends and family gathered for an amazing reception – perfectly put together by Majestic Moments Event Planning. The energy was high all night courtesy of Platinum Entertainment and Hank Lane Band.  Of course, no wedding would be complete without some fun night time photos! Congratulations Krysten and Nick it was a JOY being  a part of your wedding day!

How did you two meet and fall in love?

We met as little kids in elementary school and grew up together as best friends. Fast forward to one day when we were teenagers in highschool and the two of us looked at eachother and both thought of eachother as more than just friends. Ever since that day are beat friend relationship blossomed into falling in love.

 What was most important to you when planning your wedding?

The most important thing to us while planning our wedding was eachother. We always kept the first most important thing as the love we have for eachother and how important it was to have a big love party!  It’s easy to become consumed in all of the little details of planning a wedding but putting our love first was most important.

What was the inspiration behind your wedding theme?

The inspiration behind our wedding theme was a massive dance party and a lot of love. That recipe lead to such a warm, positive energy at the wedding and everyone could feel all of the love in the room. ..and a packed dance floor from start to finish !

What is your favorite memory from your wedding?

Favorite memory from our wedding has to be seeing each other for the first time at the altar.
Our excitement at the moment was a life feeling we will always cherish.

How will you describe the feeling you had on your wedding day to your children one day?

We can not wait to tell our children one day how we had the most amazing magical wedding! I can’t wait to one day share how warm and loving and happy the entire wedding was that you felt the energy through the entire ballroom of guests. And that we had the best night ever living on the dance floor and overly enjoying every single second of it.
