Stephanie & Steven :: Married! :: Park Chateau Wedding :: NJ Wedding Photographer

Stephanie & Steven :: Married :: Park Chateau Wedding

There’s always a reason why things happen at a certain time. Stephanie and Steven are a pure example of ‘timing’. These two, who were intentionally attempted to be ‘matched up’ didn’t actually meet until they ‘bumped’ into each other out in public. 🙂 I had the wonderful honor of capturing the love between these two and I’m ecstatic I got to be a part of their Park Chateau Wedding!

Stephanie wore an AMAZING Berta wedding gown with an illusion top. Her bridesmaids all wore a deep navy blue and paired their dresses with gorgeous pink, peach and white florals by Flowers by Maggie. Steven looked dapper as ever in his blue tuxedo thanks to Hollywood Bridal & Tuxedos. This was definitely one well-put-together bridal party for the day!

After a lovely Church ceremony, we headed to the Park Chateau for photos on the grounds. I love the variety of locations on site we can use - outside in the garden, by the pond- and even inside the bridal suite and library! Did I mention how amazing the lobby is right when you walk in? Yes! A chateau wedding is a beautiful thing. I would love to one day photograph a French Chateau Wedding! I think that would be stunning!

The evening began with an amazing arrangement and variety of foods provided by a caterer like Elite Chefs Sydney at cocktail hour and then guests hurried into the amazing ballroom to begin the party. I cannot stress enough how incredible the food was. A lot of couples’s actually underestimate the importance of quality food so I was totally thrilled that Stephanie and Steven hadn’t! Posh Entertainment kept the party going all night long - everyone was dancing!

Congratulations Stephanie and Steven - it was a JOY being a part of your special day!

We always were suppose to meet, that’s the funny part. My sister and now sister-in-law tried fixing us up a ton of times. It just so happened that we “bumped” into each other at a bar down the shore.

The most important part about planning a wedding is to have fun because at the end of the day you are marrying your best friend and that is all that matters. It is so easy to get stressed about silly stuff like tent rentals, companies similar to Love Of Parties can help, for example. Like my mother said throughout wedding planning, “It will all come together.” And it certainly did!

The dress. After saying yes to a sparkly Berta ballgown, the romantic theme came into the picture. I chose soft feminine flowers, navy tux jackets and navy bridesmaid dresses. I came up with the idea to make custom flower girl dresses from extra material on my dress. The girls LOVED matching me. The day of the wedding, my niece came up to me and said “I’m in the little dress and you’re in the big dress” and hugged me. Vanessa got a picture of the moment.

Our dance. We always said it would be fun to take dance lessons for the wedding. Steve took the initiative and called up to schedule a wedding dance class back in May. We’ve been going once a week ever since! We found a hobby in the mix of planning a wedding. Steve and I were so nervous to do the dance in front of everybody but once the song came on, all the butterflies went away. Still to this day our guests say how much they loved our dance!

A real life fairytale.
