So, it does happen sometimes. Weddings don’t go as planned, timing doesn’t pan out right, and maybe your wedding pictures aren’t all you’d hope they’d be. Well, no fear! That’s what styled shoots are for!

Let me be clear, I was not the photographer on this wedding originally, but this isn’t the first time I’ve had the chance to “save the day” by photographing a trash the dress session, one-year anniversary shoot, or in this case, a totally done up styled wedding shoot. I was so happy to be able to photograph at the place where Kim & Lou got married, The Cairnwood Estate, and recreate so many memories for them to enjoy.

On a side note, Kim is the owner of My Fair Nanny, a special occasion nanny service that will take care of your children at an on or off site location (i.e. guest’s hotel), bring age appropriate entertainment, as well as their smiles and endless amounts of energy. Best of all they are available to stay for as little or as long as you need them! (even overnight!) I have to say, for anyone planning on having young ones in a bridal party, this is a must for sure!

It’s always a priviledge to photograph someone that I know personally, and Jennifer is no exception. I went to high school with Jen, and her MoH, Yvelisse, and was so thrilled when I heard Jen was engaged! Their wedding was at the AMAZING Bonnet Island Estate in Long Beach Island and the colors of the bridesmaids dresses and flowers were simply stunning together and their dog Grover’s walk down the aisle as a ring bearer was adorable. But when I saw Jennifer’s wedding dress and Kate Spade shoes for the first time, WOW, I was in heaven! Thanks so much for the honor of being a part of your wedding day!

Khrystyna & Rafael are just the sweetest couple I could ever hope to photograph! Recently engaged, but still deciding on which part of the country they’d like to have their wedding in, they wanted to have their engagement session done right away and I was thrilled that they contacted me! Inspired by a engagement session I did at Laurita last year (and yes, I love when brides stalk my blog for inspiration!), we set out to the winery and even fought off some storm clouds just in time for me to photograph these two love birds!

I think I almost fainted when my good friend Kaycee set up this shoot for me! I mean, what do you say when a fellow photographer asks if you’d like to shoot a styled shoot featuring a wedding planner from Italy who happens to be in NYC? “Yes?!!?! Please??!?! Can I buy you a latte every morning for the rest of your life?”

Eva from Chic Weddings in Italy had a vision of bringing something new to the table for engagement session by using out-of-the-box props and locations. So when she stumbled upon the Evolution Store on one of her visits to NYC, she knew she found the place.
