This idea came to me by Jasmine Star along with the fact that I get asked a lot of questions from both photographers and brides and grooms. A lot of the questions that I get are similar, so I thought this would be a great way to tackle them and open the lines of communication because I LIKE getting questions.
To start off, I answered some questions about sales tax, types of albums and what wedding photojournalism really means. I’m pretty sure I slipped up and said some silly things like “Coffee Book Table” instead of “Coffee Table Book”, but hey, I’m not perfect and I plan on keeping it that way.
I think in the future I’d like to make these a little bit shorter, probably closer to the 5 minute mark. But for those of you who watch this whole one, you’ll get to see an unexpected cameo from my doggie Tico!
What I would truly LOVE for everyone to do, is keep asking questions. Please go ahead below in the comments box and ask away! We’ve already got one question listed on YouTube from someone who saw me upload this last night! I’ll paste it in the comments below for you guys to check out.

I’d like to hear about business standards as a photographer. Collecting money; percent upfront, when is the rest due, contracts, etc. You could devote a few episodes to those types of questions, imho.
I talked to a shooter a while back and he told me he charges a flat fee and then gives them all the shots and lets them deal with the printing of the pics as he does not want to be bothered with it. Do you watermark your shots? etc.

Hey V- Loved it! So excited for you! So my question is (now being a full time photographer-yay!) how do you organize your workflow Mon-Thurs? Just certain steps we should make mandatory over others.

Great job Vanessa! How firm do you get with the couple about the wedding day time line, how do you keep them on schedule? or do you not worry about it? Why does it seem like photo time suffers if another vendor throws off the schedule?
