{Engaged} Christina and Vincent ~ Jersey Shore Engagement Photos

Christina and Vincent’s engagement session was adorable. I LOVED Christina’s outfit choices -from her pretty pink dress to her casual tank and jeans look. We started our session off near the Jersey Shore in Spring Lake Park and then ended it for a different look on the beach. The weather was gorgeous, light was phenomenal and Christina and Vinnie were all smiles. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding in Mexico in 2015! How did you two meet?

It’s kind of funny and random how we met. I was playing on Instagram/Instamessage before going out on a Saturday night and by accident I touched something that brought me to a page that shows people in your area. Not even sure how I did that -haha! I see his cute little face so I followed him. A few minutes later he follows back. I had just downloaded the app. Instamessage (where you can privately message people) and he messages me. We ended up talking for like an hour because we had SO MUCH in common. It was chemistry right away…it’s crazy to say this but I knew just from that conversation that there was something very different about him we exchanged numbers and the whole time I was out that night we were texting back and forth. He asked me to come out for football Sunday with him and his friend Frank at a Fridays in Toms River. I would have never done something like this but for some reason I just did it. We hit it off and had so much fun! From then we were basically inseparable! He is everything that every other guy I’ve dated wasn’t. I had been praying to find real love and out of nowhere I met Vinnie. So randomly! He’s my best friend and the love of my life. There is nobody else in this world I’d rather spend the rest of my life with!

How did he pop the question?

I really wanted to take him to this place called Washington Rock, (since he’s from Beachwood NJ and I’m from South Plainfield) he’s never been there. So out of nowhere one day he says lets go to that place you wanted to show me this weekend. I really didn’t think anything of it.

So the weekend comes and we go up North Jersey, go to dinner, and then head over to Washington Rock in Watchung, NJ. The funny part is someone was texting him the whole time at dinner (it was his dad asking if he did it yet). I went to grab his phone to see who it was and he would not let me touch his phone which was really odd to me. So I actually was mad at him ha-ha.

So we get to Washington Rock, It was freezing but it’s beautiful and you can see NYC. I start talking about how beautiful it is and he says “you know I love you more than anything in this world right?” I go yeah and as I turn to look at him he gets down on his knee and says “Christina will you marry me?” With this gorgeous sparkling ring!!! I was in complete shock!! So my reaction was “STOP YOUR LYING!!!” about five time’s ha-ha (poor guy was just waiting for an answer). So he goes “is that a yes or?!?! “And OF COURSE I said yes!!!! It was totally unexpected and he did it right…he even had asked for my dad’s blessing the day before! I couldn’t be happier!

If you could both relocate anywhere in the world - where would it be?

We would love to live in California or a tropical island!

What are you most excited about for your wedding? (Dances, speeches, vows, party etc).

I’m most excited to be in Mexico with the most important people in my life there to witness us getting married on a gorgeous beach!

What’s one thing you’re looking forward to in your life-after-marriage together?

I’m looking forward to spending the rest of my life with my best friend and starting a family together!
