Lauren and Steve’s Hoboken engagement photos were so much fun to capture. Lauren wore a beautiful lace dress and Steve complimented her oh so well in his sporty gray jacket and jeans. Lauren and Steve brought along some cute props for their photos including their initials, some cute hearts and a lovely wooden cutout with the words “I do”! I love it when clients bring props to their sessions - its a great way to show their personality or just a way to say “Save the Date!”. How did he pop the question?
Unknowingly planning Lauren’s ideal proposal, Steve arranged for all of their closest family and friends to surprise her at her family’s shore house after giving her a beautiful bouquet of sunflowers and playing guitar on the beach. Tears and celebration followed, rounding out the perfect night!
How did you two meet?
As fate would have it, we met in a college apartment building on the 8th floor, neighbors from across the hall. We bonded over a bowl of pasta and a Coldplay album. Seeing as this was the foundation of our relationship, we continue to strengthen our love by eating (better pasta) and going to concerts.
What’s one thing you’re looking forward to in your life-after-marriage together?
We are looking forward to all of the firsts, together.
If you could vacation right now, anywhere in the world together - where would it be?
We would be on the first flight to Australia.
What’s one thing that drew you to your significant other?
Steve, “Lauren’s smile.”
